Ramansh Bhargava

About Me

Ramansh Bhargava (b. 1996) is a multidisciplinary artist whose practice examines the relationship between the body, architecture, and memory.

Working across painting, printmaking, photography, text, and spatial installation, he constructs encounters that unfold through movement and perception, inviting viewers to experience space as an active force rather than a passive setting.

Through recurring elements such as thresholds, curtains, fragments, photographs and architectural interventions, Bhargava constructs encounters that unfold through movement, attention, and acts of looking. His works resist immediate resolution, inviting viewers to navigate spaces where presence and absence, concealment and revelation, coexist.

Rather than treating individual mediums as separate disciplines, Bhargava moves fluidly between image and space, allowing each work to extend the same line of inquiry in a different form. Installations become environments to inhabit rather than objects to observe, while paintings, photography, and prints retain a spatial sensibility that encourages slow and embodied engagement.

His practice considers how architecture carries traces of lived experience and how bodies, in turn, continually reshape the spaces they inhabit.
